Union Desk is a simple, private task and activity tracker built for elected and appointed union leaders who need to log their day-to-day representation work and report it to their local. It runs on iPhone (iOS 17 and later).

What it does

Union Desk lets representatives:

• Log union activities in seconds — meetings, member calls, grievances, ENS (employer notification) events, conventions, lounge visits, and other interactions.

• Track follow-up tasks with a simple Today / Upcoming / Archive inbox so member issues don’t fall through the cracks.

• Generate a monthly activity report that can be shared with the local for time and contact accounting.

• View activity statistics, streaks, and monthly totals at a glance.

All data is stored locally on the user’s device. Union Desk does not require an account, and it does not upload, sync, or share user activity data to any external server.

Why Union Desk requests Google Calendar access

Union Desk offers an optional Google Calendar integration. When a representative chooses to connect their Google account in Settings, the app uses read only access to read upcoming events from their primary Google Calendar and import them as draft activities the user can then log, edit, or discard.

This saves representatives from manually re-entering meetings they’ve already scheduled in their work calendar.

• Calendar access is strictly read-only. Union Desk cannot create, modify, or delete events in the user’s Google Calendar.

• Calendar data is processed on the device and used only to populate the activity log. It is never sent to any server controlled by Union Desk or any third party.

• Users can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from the Settings screen.

• Use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
